Preschool Communication

There a number of ways that communication between families and staff can occur.

Everyday there are opportunities for brief discussion with the staff.  These are good times to relate special events in the life of your family eg. Birthdays, holidays, new babies, pets, special visitors, outings etc.

If you think you might need to talk longer, you can arrange a time to chat personally or to phone in.  You can also email us if you need to.

There are many noticeboards throughout the Preschool.  Please take the time to check them regularly.  They have Preschool information and community information on them.  If you have a business or service you wish to advertise on our noticeboard please see the office.

Every child has a pocket in which notes, newsletters, accounts etc are put in as the need arises.  Please remember to check your child's pocket daily.

Each day our staff take photographs of what is happening at Preschool and to use in the children's portfolios.  Please take the time to have a look at the photos with your child.  They are a great way to facilitate conversation with your child about their day.

Every child has a ‘Busy Box'.  This is where you will find your child's art, craft and other ‘work'.  Please check your child's busy box each day.
