Hi Everyone,
So here we are in the 2nd full week of the year and I thought I should say Hi. All the children have returned happy and rested after the holidays and so far they are all settling in beautifully. There are not too many tears and the mums and dads are doing well too!!!!! You should all be proud of yourselves, you have done such a great job preparing your children for this next step in their lives.
This year will be another busy year at preschool, not only for the children and staff but also for management as we begin to unpack and understand new requirements for licensing, the national standards, implementing the national early learning years framework etc etc. There never is a dull moment at preschool.
Don't forget our Annual General Meeting is on Tuesday February 24th, with a 7.00 for 7.30pm start. There will be reports from our outgoing President, Rebecca Hall, our Treasurer, Colin Anderson and my own Director's report. We will also have the election of office bearers where we need to elect 4 parents onto our Management Committee from the floor.
